NA/NB MX-5 Miata Differential Housing Reinforcement Plates (1990-2005)

Prevent unwanted differential arm fractures with these Differential Housing Reinforcement Plates. Mazda put a notch on the MX-5 Miata differential’s right arm so that the arm cracks in a rear end accident. This prevents more important components from getting impacted like your driveshaft, PPF, transmission, etc. Unfortunately it can also snap with high horsepower launches or constant abuse. These differential arms are your ticket to preventing your differential arms from snapping.

Fits all 1.8 MX-5 Miata differentials for the NA/NB Chassis. Does not fit 1.6 differentials.

These plates are CNC precision laser cut out of 0.25” thick aluminum for maximum reinforcement. You can order just one side to reinforce the side that has the factory notch. Or you can order two sides so you can reinforce both differential arms.

Requires welding or brazing for installation.
