5X Racing NB Shock Hat on NA Shock Adapter Kit

This kit is designed to allow the installation of the superior 1999-2005 NB shock hats on 1990-1997 NA Miata's. Installing NB shock hats on an NA (using the NA shocks) will provide about a 3/4" drop in ride height - but 3/4" more gain in shock travel - which is perfect for some drivers looking for a better-looking stance with the stock spring rates. Add in our high-performance MCU (micro-cellular urethane) shock mount bushings and you'll also improve handling and noise isolation performance over the OEM rubber bushings that are originally installed on the NB shock hat system

This kit is essentially our 5XR non-coil over shock mount kit minus the bump stops. We wholeheartedly recommend our shock mount kit to completely transform your shock mounting setup using our fantastic bump stop selection, but understand there is a desire for tuners to just need the equipment to mount NB shock hats to NA's, or to improve the quality of the OEM shock mount bushing setup. If doing this, please be aware that you will need to provide your own bump stops to make a complete kit. This kit does not come with bump stops!

This kit WILL NOT WORK with 1999-2005 NB shocks because the thickness of the MCU shock mount bushings in this kit is not the same as the OEM NB rubber shock mount bushings, and the shoulder nuts will run down onto the unthreaded portion of the NB shock shaft.
