NA/NB MX-5 Miata Engine Skid Plate (1990-2005)

Cracking your oil pan on the street means getting a tow, sourcing a used oil pan, and dropping the subframe to replace the cracked oil pan. This Skid Plate is cost-effective insurance to prevent you from going through this headache. We even added a small opening to make oil changes really user-friendly, without sacrificing rigidity.

This skid plate sits in the opening in your front subframe directly under your oil pan and is fastened to the subframe with supplied bolts and nuts. Drilling new holes through the lip on the subframe for installation is super easy and doesn’t compromise the rigidity of the subframe.
