According to the SCCA and NASA Spec Miata rules towing hooks are required for safety reasons, and you WILL use them one day! Trust us, we've ran out of gas more than a few times out on track and had to be flat-towed back into the pits. These are also a great idea to have if you take your car to a track day. The factory tow hooks are not acceptable as the holes are not large enough to accommodate the safety crews towing equipment.
